WHICH FUEL IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

B5 ULS Heating Oil is a Bioheat® fuel oil blend that is 95% Ultra-Low Sulfur Heating Oil and 5% biodiesel. Because it is generated from renewable and recycled resources such as agricultural vegetable oil by-products and recycled animal fats, biodiesel is considered to be a renewable form of fuel. All biodiesel has to meet the strict technical requirements set by the ASTM, so you can rest assured that you will get a high-quality product no matter which local fuel delivery company you buy it from.

Is Bioheat® affordable? The good news is that the cost of Bioheat® fuel has been reduced to a level where it is comparable to that of traditional heating oil for some time now.

Do I need a new heating system to use Bioheat® fuel?
No expensive conversions are required! If you currently have a boiler or furnace that uses liquid fuel, then your system can use Bioheat® fuel without any modifications.

What makes Bioheat® safer, cleaner, and more efficient?
Bioheat® fuel is low-carbon and readily available, which makes it better, cleaner, and safer for the environment. Since Bioheat® fuel is produced from renewable resources, it is a real low-carbon energy option that reduces carbon and greenhouse gas emissions today and will continue to do so as it develops into a fuel that is completely carbon neutral. As a result of the reduced emissions, Bioheat burns more cleanly and efficiently than traditional heating oil.

Dyed Kerosene (Home Use Only) was originally used in lamps but today it is commonly used in domestic heaters or furnaces, as well as other industrial applications. Kerosene in outside tanks will not gel in colder temperatures. This fuel is dyed to indicate it is not taxable and cannot be used for on-road or any other taxable uses. This product is available to PA or NY customers for HOME USE ONLY. *This product may only be available to our customers during the heating season.
